TYPES OF MASSAGE

We offer a range of massage types focusing specifically on sports massage and remedial massage.  We also work closely with allied health to provide rehabilitation massage.  


Sports massage is focused on helping athletes and sports people perform at their best. If you enjoy playing sport, you need sports massage as part of your regular training routine. Depending on what sort of sport you play, how hard you train and what your goals are we recommend weekly, fortnightly or monthly sports massage for maintenance of your body.


Remedial massage is a style of massage that uses special massage techniques to remediate soft tissue dysfunction that is causing discomfit, pain or functional limitation to the body. Techniques used by our therapists in Remedial Massage include deep tissue massage, trigger point release, dry needling and stretching techniques. Remedial and rehabilitation massage use similar techniques.
